Education
- At five years of age, Chris began a classical Violin Soloist education; his main influence and mentor for many years was acclaimed German Violinist Prof. Dr. Max- Ludwig Grube.
- With a growing interest in Folk / Country and improvised Music, Chris took Workshops in the US and Germany with Mark O’Connor, Darol Anger, Mark Wood and Gregor Huebner.
Activities
- With about 200 concerts per year as a featured soloist for numerous artists, Chris Herzberger is a sought after live player.
- As a session/recording musician, Chris has contributed to more than 50 studio albums so far.

- 2013: Chris played with Multi-Platinum awarded Irish songwriter Declan O’Rourke at the Irish Arts Center in New York City, the event being curated by Grammy-award winner Susan McKeown.
- In 2010, Chris played in front of 40,000 people at the „Lichtfest“ in Leipzig, Germany – the event commemorating the 20th anniversary of Germany’s peaceful 1989 Revolution that brought down the Berlin Wall and reunited East and West Germany.
- 2007 and 2008, Chris toured with Scandinavian singer Eivor Palsdottir and her Gold- awarded album „Human Child“ (produced by Irish Folk Legend Donal Lunny) in Iceland, Denmark, Norway and the Faroe Islands.
- 2007 – 2009, Chris toured with Irish songwriter Declan O’Rourke and his Double- Platinum awarded album „Since Kyabram“ in Ireland, Scotland and the United Kingdom.
- TV appearances with a variety of artists on BBC, MTV EUROPE (Nov. 16), Faroese National TV and many German TV stations (ARD, ZDF, SAT1, RTL, VOX, SWR etc.)
